I've noticed that stocks get attention during the week based on their news. For example, RVSN has been in and out of the news, making it popular and showing up in our scanners this week. PHUN is another stock that follows this news trend. Ricky doesn't trade based on the news, but he knows when news articles come out (usually at the top of the hour or around 7 PM EST) and how that affects the trading volume of stocks. Ricky also talked a bit about spreads; he looks at level two data and checks if the 'ask' price is green and flowing (similar to our volume indicators). I think a video explaining level II data would be helpful if Ricky has the time.
