Day 29

The morning kicked off on a rough note as I grappled with sleep deprivation from tending to my infant through the night. In hindsight, I realized I wasn't mentally prepared for trading. Despite this, I dove into trading anyway. My first trade resulted in a loss, straying from my own trading rules. However, the second trade was a decent win, albeit one driven by impulsively chasing green candles, leaving me less than satisfied. Today's biggest takeaway was observing the significant spikes in biotech and healthcare stocks upon positive news, making it challenging to catch a pullback without ending up in a chasing position. Furthermore, these stocks tend to undergo aggressive sell-offs once they peak. Additionally, I've noticed these patterns typically emerge around 7 AM EST during Ricky's premarket trading session.
